Capri continues to grow and thrive even though she has yet to learn how to suck properly. Mommy has been pumping and finger feeding Capri to teach her to suckle. It has been a very interesting experience. We are grateful for a wonderful Lactation Consultant who has been so helpful in getting Capri to nurse. Everyday we make a little more progress.
Brenden and Ainsley love having a baby sister. Ainsley is constantly hugging and kissing Capri. She loves helping Mommy take care of the baby. Brenden gives Capri love every once in a while and will ask Mom, "How's my baby doing?" Brenden was also very worried about Mom and Capri while we were in the hospital. He kept asking if we were OK and if my owies were getting better. He was so happy to have us home.
Erin has also developed an infection that has me taking a lot of antibiotics. It has been a rather painful experience. We are grateful that Grandma Anderson has been here with us this week. She and Ainsley have had some fun together. Ainsley has been going with Grandma to run different errands. She has loved having the attention from Grandma since Mom hasn't been able to give her as much. It seems that all Mom does is pump, feed and change Capri.
